Visitor's Card 
In Switzerland you have to pay a resort tax and you may be wondering what happens to this money. The resort tax is used by the tourist offices to improve the infrastructure. According to cantonal law, every guest visiting the Aletsch Arena and surrounding region is obligated to pay the resort tax, as are owners and permanent tenants of chalets, vacation rentals, and second homes. The resort tax is collected by the landlord. You then receive the Visitor's Card from your landlord on arrival after completing the registration form.
