Climbing for children

The ABC for potential alpinists! Join our Wednesday's (June 23 - August 25, 2010 and October 06, 2010) and Monday's (July 05 - August 09, 2010) half-day (morning or afternoon) climbing course for children and teenagers. The climbing garden was specially designed for kids. Here they will be supervised by our mountain guide, Peter Stucky, who will teach them the basics of climbing at grade two and three, rappelling techniques, and rope climbing games.
(CHF 30.00 per child/half-day).

Bettmersee (lake)

The lake is at its most beautiful before sundown: Quiet and peaceful, the lake is nestled in a gently undulating hilly landscape only 10 minutes away from the village center. Just right for a short romantic stroll. An easy trail (stroller accessible) leads around the lake, where you will pass fishers and BBQ areas. You can rent a boat if you feel like having a row on the lake or if you don't mind cold water, take a refreshing dip in the lake. There's also a jetty, providing an inviting place to stock up on some sunshine. The lake festival takes place every summer (last weekend in July). This is a fun event with music, food and games. The area around the lake offers a paddling pool for kids and a beach volleyball court where sports fans can let off steam.

Miniature golf

Fun and excitement for the whole family is guaranteed on Bettmeralp's miniature golf course! During the summer season it is open daily from 2-6 PM (and 10 AM - 9 PM from mid-July to mid-August). Holders of the guest card receive a discount on the cost of admission.
