Children's adventure week

October 5 – 9, 2009

The children's adventure week offers a very attractive variety of activities for children between the ages of 4 and 14. We'll stage a musical based on a story of our mascots Marmot and Fox, with acting, singing, dancing and music-making, and make the costumes, props and scenery. We'll explore the local area together with the mascots, engage in sporting activities and cook Valaisian specialties. We'll collect berries and herbs and learn about the UNESCO World Heritage Site, a unique landscape on the Great Aletsch Glacier in Valais.

For children and adolescents between the ages of 4 and 14.

All prices are in Swiss francs and include VAT. Prices in euros serve as comparisons: € 1.00= CHF 1.55

Cancellation insurance PLUS from ELVIA

CHF 6.00 per child
You can request ELVIA's contractual terms from Bettmeralp Tourism. In the case of cancellation or a change in booking by the guest, a processing fee of CHF 50.00 will be charged.

Schedule of activities

Monday, 9:30 am

Meeting at the Bachtla Sports Center and orientation on the schedule for the week. The children will be divided into two groups according to their wishes and preferences. A trip to the alpine meadows, climbing, a scavenger hunt and short hikes will be enjoyed together.

Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

The stories will be told and rehearsed through play. The characters embody friendship, security, joy, fun, adventure and lots of surprises.

Friday

3:00 pm Performance of the musical 4:00 pm The children enjoy the gala meal they have cooked themselves with their parents and friends

Refreshments

At noon a simple meal and a beverage will be served for a small fee of CHF 8.00 per child/meal. There will be a lunch break between 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm. The children can eat the arranged meal in the group, go home for lunch or bring their own lunch.

Insurance

Participants must arrange their own insurance. The organizer is not liable for injury, damage or accidents.
